Društvo slovenskih režiserjev (DSR) izraža podporo študentom budimpeštanske Univerze za gledališko in filmsko umetnost, ki protestirajo zaradi spornega vladnega imenovanja skrbniškega odbora univerze, saj naj bi ta spodkopaval avtonomijo izobraževalne ustanove. Svobodo umetniškega izražanja vidimo kot eno temeljnih vrednot v Evropi in treba jo je omogočiti tudi prihajajočim generacijam ustvarjalcev.
